Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Wagshal’s reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Credit Cards
We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases with Wagshal’s. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and phone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed a deposit when you place your order.
Delivery
When Wagshal’s uses a third party for deliveries, the delivery fee charged goes to this company. When Wagshal’s makes the delivery, the fee charged covers our costs associated to complete your delivery. Wagshal’s will notify you of the fee for delivery before your order is delivered. Gratuity is not included, and the drivers appreciate your generosity. Delivery fees are based on the zip code where your order will be delivered and the respective holiday. If order is placed online, the delivery fee will be on your order summary when you check out.
Shipping Policy
Wagshal’s will ship any of the products that we carry, provided it’s in stock. All orders that will be shipped must be placed in person or over the phone. At the time you place your order for shipping, we will inform you of when your order will be shipped. All orders will ship priority overnight. We can provide you with an estimate before we fill your order of the shipping costs, if you elect to do this. Wagshal’s does not ship Friday through Sunday.
Out-Of-Stock Products
There may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock or unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. Wagshal’s will keep you informed of any product(s) that is out-of-stock and if there are substitutes.
Multiple Product Orders
Wagshal’s will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipment will be shipped as they become available. Wagshal’s will keep you informed of your order status before your order initially ships should any changes need to be made. You will only be charged for items that are initially shipped, and the shipping charge will only be for those items. Should you desire a second or third shipment to complete your order, Wagshal’s will charge shipping on each additional shipment sent.
Special Orders
If you desire for Wagshal’s to special order an item that is not currently stocked or require a quantity that requires us to special order that amount for you, Wagshal’s will require pre-payment with a credit card at the time of the order. Special orders cannot be canceled once placed.
Taxes
Washington, D.C. does not have a sales tax for Meat, Seafood, Produce and Bread. If your order is shipped/delivered outside of Washington, D.C. you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.
Returns
Wagshal’s will stand behind the quality of its Meat, Seafood, Produce and Bread. If you are not 100% satisfied with what you have purchased, simply give us a call and we will either replace the product you have bought or issue you a store credit. Wagshal’s does not issue refunds. Items that are not made by Wagshal’s are not eligible for return.
Typographical Errors
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Wagshal’s shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price. Wagshal’s shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Wagshal’s shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card in the amount of the incorrect price.
These conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether Wagshal’s signs them or not. Wagshal’s reserves the right to make changes to this site and these conditions at any time.
