Beef Steaks
Of all the beef produced in the U.S., the USDA certifies only 2 percent as prime grade. Wagshals hand-selected prime beef comes from the very best grain fed cattle in the Midwest. We carry only Glatt Kosher slaughtered beef. Please note that Wagshals is not a kosher butcher, and we do not have a Rabbi on staff. Once the beef arrives, it is dry-aged for at least four weeks before it is cut into the beautiful steaks and roasts that you see every day in the case.
What makes our beef the best? Not only does Wagshals Market carry the best beef available, Wagshals is one of the only butchers in the Washington DC area that dry-ages our beef in-house.
